The launch of the Audi R8
The new Audi R8 sports car is going into production in autumn of 2006 at the Audi plant in Neckarsulm. quattro GmbH is responsible for developing and manufacturing the new model bearing the four rings. Some 28 million euros have been invested in the R8 production line, including the conversion and renovation of an old factory on the site. 250 employees will work on manufacturing this new model.

RS models

More than 20 years of expertise
quattro GmbH was established in 1983 as a fully owned subsidiary of AUDI AG. Equipped with its own development and production facilities, the company’s team of around 580 employees are constantly breaking new ground in terms of sporty and exclusive vehicle customisation.
